April 22, 2006: USA Taekwondo National Qualifier
- El did the Tae Geuk 4 form. There were 5 girls in her
weight division and she won the Silver.
-
She did really well under pressure and it was
the best one she's ever done out of all the times we've seen her
do the form during practice.
-
- El prepares for her match. She receives some coaching from
Mrs. Marcelino.
-
- There were no other competitors in El's weight division, so
she sparred with a boy who was at the same weight in an
exhibition match. Her coach said she did a good job, she
never backed down. She lost the match: 1st round 0-0; 2nd round
0-3. She still received a Gold Medal though.
